Undercovers under new ownership

We’re excited to announce that Undercovers has been sold, and our new owner can’t wait to continue the journey our Founder Liz, began! 

We remain committed to providing quality, reusable period underwear that’s made right here in Australia and supports our local community and businesses. 

You’ll see a few tweaks and changes to our website and socials over the coming months, as well as some exciting new product additions. 

The Undercovers story began in 2011 when the Founder of Undercovers began looking for a totally leakproof alternative to single-use sanitary products. After years of fabric waterproofing and absorbency research and product development with a consultant from Melbourne RMIT’s School of Fashion and Textiles, the search for the perfect fabric led to Germany. 

Designed and made in Australia, Undercovers was launched in 2021. 

In February 2025, Undercovers was sold to Tai Ryan. With a 20-year career in events and marketing management, Tai also focuses on industry sustainability through her first company, The Sustainable Occasion. She helps clients develop and host private and corporate events that are kind to the Earth, and has self-published a DIY event planning guidebook. 

Tai’s ethos and passion for sustainability and women’s empowerment was a match for Undercovers and so the Undercovers journey excitedly continues…
